As the Florida summer winds down, the spirit of competition gallops forward at the 2025 Summer’s End Horse Show, set to take place September 4–7 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. Hosted by the Florida Morgan Horse Association (FMHA), this annual event draws top-tier equestrians from across the Southeast and beyond for a weekend filled with elegance, energy, and elite horsemanship.

The show is more than just a showcase of skills—it’s a celebration of the diverse world of equestrian sport. Riders will compete in a wide array of disciplines including Western Dressage, USDF Dressage, Over Fences, Hunter Divisions, Carriage Driving, and even Exceptional Challenge classes designed for riders with disabilities. Recognized by multiple associations including USEF, ASHA, and AHA, the event ensures competitive integrity and a rich variety of classes for nearly every equestrian style.

 

Top names in the industry will serve as officials, including Dallas Bolen, Pepper Proffit, and Natalie Lamping, with Peter Fenton lending his voice as the announcer. Official event photography will be provided by Jon McCarthy, capturing unforgettable moments from both the arena and the stables.

 

For equine enthusiasts and competitors alike, the  World Equestrian Center offers a world-class venue complete with beautiful grounds, premium amenities, and FREE parking. Show operations officially begin Thursday, but participants may arrive as early as Wednesday afternoon with no additional fees.

 

Entries for the show close August 24, with late fees applying thereafter. Riders and fans are encouraged to secure their spots soon—especially as local hotel accommodations and sponsorship opportunities are filling fast. Notably, sponsors contributing $200 or more will receive ringside banner placements and program visibility.

 

Whether you're competing, supporting a rider, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the Summer’s End Horse Show is a signature Ocala event not to be missed.
