Overnight Lane Closures on SW 19th Ave. Road Begin January 11 for Resurfacing

Starting Sunday, January 11, 2026, the City of Ocala will initiate a road resurfacing project on SW 19th Ave. Road, necessitating overnight lane closures. The affected stretch extends from SW 27th Ave. to SW 17th St.

Construction activities are scheduled between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., continuing through Friday, January 30, 2026. During these hours, motorists should expect delays and are advised to consider alternative routes. The project area will experience increased noise, dust, and the presence of heavy equipment.
