Jackie Kay III, an Ocala native, is set to captivate audiences as the lead in the upcoming sports comedy, "Signing Tony Raymond."
The film follows a college football coach's journey to rural Alabama to recruit the nation's top high school defensive end, Tony Raymond, portrayed by Kay.
Joining Kay are renowned actors Michael Mosley, Mira Sorvino, Charles Esten, and Rob Morgan. Additionally, former NFL stars Brian Bosworth and Marshawn Lynch make notable appearances.
Written and directed by Glen Owen, the film premiered at the Austin Film Festival on October 24, 2025, with a runtime of one hour and 45 minutes.
Kay, a graduate of Forest High School and former soccer player at Flagler College, has an impressive portfolio, including a role in Netflix's "Monster."
