New Home2 Suites by Hilton Planned for Silver Springs

A new Home2 Suites by Hilton is set to rise in Silver Springs, marking a significant addition to the area's hospitality offerings.

The proposed five-story, 72,100-square-foot hotel will feature 106 guest rooms and 109 parking spaces.

Located at 5495 N.E. 25th Street, the site is strategically positioned between NE 58th Avenue and NE 25th Street, just south of the existing Holiday Inn Express & Suites Silver Springs-Ocala.

This development is spearheaded by HDG Legacy, a local company with a history of successful hotel projects in the region.

Home2 Suites by Hilton caters to travelers seeking extended-stay accommodations, offering rooms equipped with living spaces and in-suite kitchens to provide a home-like experience.

Additional amenities typically include pet-friendly services, multifunctional community spaces, fitness areas, laundry rooms, and digital check-in options.

Development plans indicate that the hotel's address may be updated to reflect its main driveway access and frontage off NE 58th Avenue upon submission of a building permit.

This new establishment will join a cluster of hotels and motels in the vicinity, including Silver River Inn, Days Inn, Spring Side Motel, Sun Plaza Motel, Rodeway Inn, OYO Hotel Mustang, Stage Stop Resort, and Extended Stay America, all serving visitors to Silver Springs State Park and Marion County.

In addition to this project, HDG Legacy is also developing the AC Hotel by Marriott in downtown Ocala, a Howard Johnson by Wyndham in northwest Ocala, a recently opened StayBridge Suites in the same area, and both a TownePlace Suites by Marriott and a Best Western in southwest Ocala.

These developments reflect a growing investment in the region's hospitality sector, aiming to accommodate the increasing number of visitors and bolster the local economy.
