Miller's Ale House Celebrates Grand Opening on SR 200 in Ocala

New location marks significant expansion for popular sports bar chain

Miller's Ale House has officially opened its doors on State Road 200 in Ocala, marking a significant milestone for the beloved sports bar chain.

The grand opening event, held on October 14, 2025, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local dignitaries and community members.

General Manager Ted Lynch addressed the enthusiastic crowd, expressing his excitement about the new establishment.

“In 1993, the first Ale House opened in Ocala, and that was store number four,” Lynch remarked.

“Here we are, with store number 136.

We’ve come a long way and we’re very excited to be a part of this community.”

The new restaurant is strategically located along SW College Road, adjacent to Ocala’s first Culver’s, which opened in 2021.

This expansion aims to cater to the growing demand in southwest Ocala, providing residents with a convenient dining option.

Miller's Ale House is renowned for its contemporary American pub fare, featuring favorites like burgers, wings, and their signature Zingers® chicken tenders.

The establishment boasts a high-energy atmosphere with over 60 TVs, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts.

With 35 beers on tap and a variety of signature cocktails, the bar offers a vibrant nightlife scene.

The opening of this new location is part of a broader trend of business growth along SR 200.

In the first half of 2025, Marion County welcomed 18 new restaurants, reflecting the area's economic vitality.

Other notable additions include Koto Hibachi Express and Sushi, which is set to open at 3811 SW College Road, and a new Chipotle near the city’s first Sprouts Farmers Market.
