Light Up Ocala 2025: A Festive Tradition Illuminates Downtown |

As the holiday season approaches, downtown Ocala is set to transform into a luminous wonderland with the return of the 41st annual Light Up Ocala on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 3 to 8 p.m.
Attendees can anticipate a vibrant array of activities and attractions. The event will feature over 100 vendors offering crafts, art, and a variety of food options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Live entertainment will fill the air with festive sounds, and an interactive kids' zone will keep the whole family engaged. A highlight of the festivities is the Junior Sunshine Parade, showcasing local youth groups and culminating in a special appearance by Santa Claus. The evening's pinnacle is the grand lighting ceremony, illuminating downtown Ocala in a dazzling display of holiday lights.
To accommodate the large crowd, free shuttle services will operate from 2 to 9 p.m. from four locations: Marion Technical Institute, E.D. Crosley Recreation Center, Ocala Skate Park, and the Discovery Center. These shuttles will run at intervals ranging from 10 to 20 minutes, providing convenient access to the event.
For those looking to extend their festive outing, downtown Ocala offers a variety of activities. Film enthusiasts can catch a classic movie at the Marion Theatre, while families can explore interactive exhibits at the Discovery Center in Tuscawilla Park.
